Subject: Sharing the "E-Cigarettes vs. Heated Tobacco Products — Know the Law" bilingual educational posters produced by the Health Promotion Administration (HPA), Ministry of Health and Welfare.

Key Information:

• Legal Framework: Under the revised Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act, Taiwan completely bans e-cigarettes (and other novel tobacco products) and strictly regulates heated tobacco products (HTPs). HTPs without approved Health Risk Assessment reviews cannot be manufactured, imported, sold, displayed, advertised, or used.

• Resources: To ensure everyone understands the rules and avoids unintentional violations, the HPA has released these bilingual materials outlining product definitions and relevant penalties.
